DARYL SATTLER

At the core of EPIC Soccer Academy is Daryl Sattler, a former professional goalkeeper with over a decade of experience playing for teams including Minnesota United, Tampa Bay Rowdies, and most notably San Antonio, where he earned the Golden Glove Award in 2012 and helped lead the club to its first National Championship in 2014.

Daryl also spent eight seasons coaching at the collegiate level, contributing to programs such as: Lipscomb University, University of North Florida, Flagler College, and Jacksonville University.

He launched EPIC Goalkeeping to provide high-quality gloves at affordable prices and to deliver the specialized training goalkeepers need to excel. Recognizing that goalkeeping is a position that demands unique coaching, Daryl built a program focused on excellence, detail, and passion.

As word of his coaching expertise and mentorship spread, demand for his leadership extended beyond goalkeepers. This inspired the evolution of EPIC Goalkeeping into EPIC Soccer Academy, expanding to serve field players and goalkeepers of all levels.

Now based in Jacksonville, Florida, Daryl leads elite private and small group training sessions in EPIC’s Indoor Soccer-Specific Training Center. His training includes technical development, speed, strength and agility work, and large-scale camps and clinics across the country.
